The following parameters were analyzed using America Public Health Association standard method: pH, turbidity, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids, magnesium (Mg2+), potassium (K+) calcium (Ca2+), chloride (Cl-), bicarbonate (HCO3-), sulphate (SO42-). The study area lies within Asu River Group of the Lower Benue Trough. Elbahi micro-dam is located near to Jigjiga town in Ethiopia Somali Regional state; it was constructed from 1986-1993 with multi-purpose dam to serve the community as a source of water supply for irrigation, domestic and livestock consumptions, and to protecting Jigjiga town from flood problems.
