The study has duly focused on the market channel, market participants and performance of red pepper markets. The main determinants of volume of red pepper supply were also analyzed. The data were generated by structured questionnaire, focus group discussions, key informant interviews and field observation focus. This was augmented by secondary data collected from the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Development, Woreda marketing agency reports and websites. Earlier up to 1930's, it was the major water source to meet drinking and irrigation requirements for both twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Now this lake turned to virtual garbage bin with no adequate treatment for wastewater loads originated from point and non point sources. Therefore the lake loses the capability of self purification system which was an important factor that depends on the maximum uptake of oxygen from the atmosphere.   Juniper Publishers-Open Access Journal of Environmental Sciences & Natural Resources Pre Extension Demonstration of Improved Common Bean ( Phaseolus vulgaris   (l.)) with its Full Packages in Gamogofa and Segen Area Peoples Zone, SNNPRs, Ethiopia Authored by   Solomon Yokamo Abstract Three varieties of common bean i.e. hawassa dume, tatu and remeda were demonstrated with its full packages on 100m2 area at three different FTCs and 16 model farmers farm. Necessary inputs were delivered to farmers from the Arbaminch Agricultural Research Center and relevant researchers can follow-up and works in close relationship with farmers. Yield data, partial budget analysis, famers perception and preferences were collected throughout the demonstration stages. The average yield performances of the hawassa dume, tatu and remeda were 26.33qt/hec, 21.16qt/hec and 28.80qt/hec respectively.
